She's definitely Italian!

I have given Addie many chances over the last couple months to self feed. She can now successfully - and without creating much of a mess at all - feed herself bananas, Cheerios, teething biscuits, avacados, chicken, etc.

But last night we had a whole new adventure. I decided she should try pasta. As you can see from the photos, she loved it. I'm not sure how much actually got in her mouth, but all in all, it might have been her favorite dinner experience yet. She didn't even notice it was whole grain pasta with organic sauce!

We are going to carve our pumpkin for Halloween tonight (thanks Mimi!) and I promise to post some Halloween photos of that, along with Miss Addison in her Princess Leia costume this weekend.

Miss you all!

My First Post

I am not sure how good I will be at this, but as it has been a month since Addie has seen Papa JR, and over two months since she's seen Uncle Anthony and Uncle David, I'm going to give it my best to update this blog on a weekly basis with pictures and videos so that you all can see her grow.

This morning we went to her weekly gymnastics class. She loves it! She is able to flip forwards and backwards (with a spot of course) and is constantly laughing and smiling as she moves from one piece of equipment to the next. She also loves conversing with her best bud in the class, an 11th month old named Sam. I promise to take pictures of gymnastics soon so you all can see.

But for this morning I have posted a couple videos. One shows her crawling and stair-climbing skills. The other shows her talking, or more accurately just saying "Da da da" over and over. In the final video, Addie is waving and doing her famous clapping to "If you're happy and you know it..."

Miss you all!
